As a Digital Manufacturing Solutions Consultant, your primary focus will be working with multiple dedicated teams to ensure that our tools best meet our customer’s needs. The role plays a key responsibility as Arcstone’s intermediary between R&D, sales, partners and customers and is responsible overall for the successful scoping and implementation of Arcstone’s solutions. You will also serve as a key contributor on cross-functional teams to help guide our product development roadmap, helping us cut through the noise of customer wants to derive what they truly need and to see it be properly implemented to bring about maximum value using Arcstone’s toolsets. Our Digital Manufacturing Solutions consultants are the primary point of contact for customers during project execution and drive our engagements to successful closure and delivery. You will be directly responsible for designing, scoping, customer training and overseeing the implementation/deployment of Arcstone’s products to cater to our customer needs. You will recognise how Arcstone’s solutions can be configures to address pain points and work closely with Arcstone’s analytics team to design customer specific implementations and configurations to address these. As a manufacturing solutions consultant, you will communicate at all levels with our client's organisation and recommend industry best practices through Arcstone’s toolsets.

What will be your area of focus?


  • Understand the workings in and out of a manufacturing site and identify bottlenecks, pain points and areas for digitalization, integration and improvement.

  • Leverage Arcstone’s suite of toolsets, ranging from hardware integration (arc.quire) to software integration (arc.flow) and everything in-between with our next generation MES toolset (arc.ops) to help a customer fully digitalize and run their factory.

  • Coordinate and act as the main POC for Arcstone’s deployments, engaging directly with the customer to understand their issues and to work with Arcstone analysts and engineers to configure and deploy toolsets to a factory site from beginning to end.

  • Focus on structure, documentation and coordination of engagements to ensure our projects are fully tracked on Monday.com and leverages all of Arcstone’s suite of toolsets with proper hand over to our Engineering Support team post successfully project delivery.

  • Gather and evaluate customer feedback to provide recommendations and improvements on critical product features, process changes, and customer support procedures and policies.

  • Collaborate with developers, architects and product managers to iterate and improve existing toolsets based on your learnings from all the different projects you’ll be running.


What are the requirements of the job?


Must-have Skills:

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in the fields of factory/manufacturing operations, supply chain or industrial/manufacturing engineering

  • Previous experience of solution consultant and software implementation ideally within the same product category (IoT, MES, Manufacturing, Supply Chain), minimum 3-5 years' experience of similar capacity.

  • Proven ability to match product functionality to the client’s business needs

  • Proven ability to understand and address client’s objections

  • Strong expertise in project management, including establishing and executing effective project communication plans, submitting project deliverables, preparing and managing budgets and status reports

  • Self-motivated, comfort with ambiguity and flexible with no 9-5 mentality

  • Positive team player with no-ego attitude

  • Strong attention to detail


Good-to-have Skills:

  • Familiar with hardware and software integration practices and technologies, such as OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, RESTApi, Web Service, etc.

  • Familiar with Unified Name Space concept for data management and ISA 95 standards

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and trust with prospects/clients

  • Experience creating and delivering compelling presentations.

  • Strong ability to demonstrate and persuade using influencing skills and relating to prospective customers in a consultative manner

  • Industry 4.0 roadmapping and long-term planning experience
